Guajira
Amazing place where it is the house of Mareywa, the
God of the wayuú, is passed by the salt mines of Manaure,
gigantic complex that produces more than 27 thousand tons monthly
of salt, and by Uribia, considered the indigenous capital of Colombia.
In the first section of the route the mine can be
visited greater open sky of the world: the Hillock, imposing industrial
project for the operation of coal, or to the city of Maicao, commercial
display cabinet of the Guajira, where the Muslims constructed a
huge mosque.
Other destinies near the Cabo of Vela are:
Honda bay, where it is Port Bolivar, the greater carboniferous port
of Colombia; the Aeolian Park of Jepirachí, a plant pilot
to take advantage of the wind force and to generate energy electrical,
and to visit places separated like the Natural National Park the
Macuira, green oasis in the middle of the peninsula, and Tower,
the northern end of Suramérica. |
